Bengali jotok bichar compares the bride’s and groom’s Moon signs and birth stars across eight kootas, Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Rashi (Bhakoot) and Nadi, worth 36 points. Nadi and Rashi carry the most weight, and a zero in either is looked at closely.

How many points are good in jotok bichar?

Traditionally 18 of 36 or more is acceptable and 25 or more very good, provided Nadi and Rashi are not in dosha or the dosha is cancelled.
