Paada (feet), Kati (waist), Nabhi (navel), Kanta (neck) and Siro (head). Each group has stars in ascending (aroha) and descending (avaroha) order. When bride and groom fall in the same Rajju, it is called Rajju dosha, which tradition links to the longevity of the marriage.
Conventions differ on whether stars in the same Rajju but opposite directions count as a match. Tarachakra follows AstroSage, which most families compare against: same group, opposite direction passes, except in Siro, which always fails.
Many families will not proceed, and most astrologers advise strong caution. Some accept it when the other important poruthams are excellent; ask your family astrologer.
Siro (head) Rajju dosha is traditionally considered the most serious, followed by Kanta (neck).
